Aspect: Golden straw yellow with glistening orange highlights. Nose: Stewed oranges and thick cut marmalade. Lovely fresh oak shavings and sawdust. Creamy patisserie notes like thick vanilla custard. More autumn stewed fruits and some tropical fruit notes. Palate: Spicy on the first attack. A voluptuous overall sweetness follows with delicate tannins and nutty notes. Powerful in the mouth, though delicate at the same time with slight bitterness on the finish.
